浙江科技学院40周年校庆公告

公元2020年10月，浙江科技学院将迎来建校四十周年。天时激励，崇德尚用；四秩雕镌，求真创新。谨此，向关心支持学校建设发展的各级领导、各界朋友、海内外校友和全体师生员工致衷心感谢和崇高敬意！
栉风沐雨，弦歌不辍。1980年10月9日，沐浴着改革开放的春风，浙江科技学院的前身浙江大学附属杭州工业专科学校应运而生。40载春秋，学校传承浙大血脉，允迪前踪，鉴往开来。升格更名、迁扩校区、提升内涵，既繁既苦、克艰克难、奋进不止。今日浙科，强化应用型办学，彰显国际化特色，矢志高水平建设社会主义的浙江科技大学，力争成为浙江省乃至全国应用型大学之标杆。
海纳百川，特色迥出。40载春秋，学校延鉴德国学脉，以中德省州合作、两国政府级合作为基，强“德”字高端平台，拓法、美、澳、罗等诸国合作，育百余国来华学子。中德合作枝脉郁郁，国际化办学特色煌煌。今日浙科，为浙江省乃至全国对德教育、科技、文化交流与合作的重要窗口，列中国大学国际化竞争力百强。
砺行锵锵，春华秋实。40载春秋，学校深融浙江地脉，高举应用型大旗，一以贯之育一流应用型人才，不拘一格汇一流应用型师资，顶天立地建一流应用型学科，持之以恒逐一流应用型科技创新，桃李芬芳，硕果累累。今日浙科，承国家项目，建省部平台，高水平成果层出不穷，千余教师于地方经济社会主战场策马扬鞭，奋楫笃行，数万海内外学子在各行各业栋梁是举，藻绘江山。
“两山”滋华，翩跹学子长梦；浙水流响，萦牵嘉朋深情。衷心期盼广大校友重返母校，畅叙情谊，共襄大业；诚挚邀请海内外宾朋拨冗莅临，深化合作，同谱华章！

(Notice No.1)
In October 2020, Zhejiang University of Science and Technology (ZUST) shall celebrate its 40th anniversary. Over the past four decades, the university has been striving for Virtue and Truth, Practicality and Creativity. Hereby, we would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude and highest respect to leaders at all levels, friends from all walks of life, alumni across the world, and all faculty, staff and students for your long-term care and support for the university!
Braving wind and rain, ZUST has been devoted to the cause of education. On October 9, 1980, with the implementation of reform and opening up policy, Hangzhou Industrial School Attached to Zhejiang University, the predecessor of ZUST, was established. Over the past 40 years, inheriting the academic traditions of Zhejiang University, we have been following the steps of our predecessors and forging ahead into the future. We have overcome numerous difficulties and have been striving for self-improvement, including upgrading, renaming, moving and expanding the campus, improving the quality, etc. Today, ZUST prioritizes the application-oriented education, highlights internationalization features, and is committed to building a high-level modernized university which is the benchmark of application-oriented universities in Zhejiang province and even in China.
Like the sea embracing all kinds of rivers, the university has developed its distinctive features over the past 40 years. Based on Sino-German province-state cooperation and Sino-German government cooperation, the university has introduced and learnt from the German education model and established high-level Sino-German cooperation platforms. ZUST has also built partnerships in France, the United States, Australia, Romania and many other countries, and has been recruiting international students from more than 100 countries. Nowadays, ZUST has not only become an important window of Sino-German cooperation in the province or even in the country in terms of education, science and technology and cultural exchanges, but also has ranked among the top 100 universities in China with regard to its international competitiveness.
Through four decades of commitment and persistent endeavors, the university has scored fruitful results. Deeply integrated into Zhejiang province, the university has been holding on to application-oriented education, producing applied talents, engaging outstanding application-oriented faculties, building first-class application-oriented disciplines, and pursuing application-oriented innovation in science and technology. Today, ZUST has undertaken a large number of national projects and built many provincial and ministerial platforms, with high-level results achieved one after another. Over one thousand faculty members are playing remarkable roles in Zhejiang's economic and social development. Tens of thousands of graduates have become talents in all trades and professions and made great contribution to the society.
Therefore, we enthusiastically hope that alumni at home and abroad will reunite at ZUST and recall the friendship out of the old days. And we cordially invite all friends and guests across the world to attend the celebration to deepen cooperation and friendship!
